Medical doctor specialized in Epidemiology and Global Health. The past ten years my professional focus has been the design, implementation and/or evaluation of public health initiatives at a global level, mostly in sub-Saharan Africa but also in South-Asia and Latin-America. My research core topic has been maternal and child health in developing settings and the operational challenges to deliver quality health care services for this population, particularly in the HIV context but also from a broader scope. Likewise, I contributed as senior advisor for proposal writing and fund-raising for several organizations working in development but also in emergency in the Middle East. During COVID-19 pandemics, I had the opportunity to support several health-tech startup projects in Barcelona as Senior technical advisor in public health, reinforcing the technological component of my professional pack. Currently, I joined ACF-Spain team to become the Product Manager and Functional Referent of SAM Photo Application, initiative aiming at simplifying and improving the diagnosis of acute malnutrition among children under five years old using smartphone technology.
