Director of Research and innovation in Action Against Hunger Spain. Master’s degree in health policies, strategies and management from Madrid European University, and High Post-Grade in International Public Health, Health Institute Carlos III. With over 27 years of experience in the integration of nutrition into international humanitarian action, has worked to respond to emergencies and improve the nutritional resilience of households and communities across the world.
Leads the innovation and research strategy of the Action Against Hunger Spain, ensuring maximization of learning, research and capacity development across the nutrition, food security, and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) sectors. More than two decades of experience in integrating nutrition-related evidence into key decision-making processes at all levels (field, national, regional, global) of policy and practice to ensure the uptake of critical information that has the potential to improve the design and implementation of nutrition-sensitive and nutrition-specific interventions.
